Sawan Wadhwa is Head of Stewardship responsible for implementing the firm’s stewardship strategy and integrating it into the investment process, while providing ongoing ESG company analysis. He joined Evenlode in 2017. He previously worked as a Governance Analyst at Schroders and a Proxy Voting Analyst at Federated Hermes.

Sawan graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Finance and is qualified from the Governance Institute of Australia in Governance and Risk Management. He has completed the Climate-related Financial Risk Course from Oxford University and has passed the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Tom Weller is Head of Innovation responsible for examining innovation across diverse industries and application areas. He draws on his broad scientific and business experience to analyse developments at large incumbent and new start-up companies, informing the investment team’s analysis of current and potential investment risks and opportunities. He joined Evenlode in 2019. He previously worked in academia, government and start-up labs and has deep experience of scientific research, innovation and education.

Tom graduated from UCL with an MSc in Physics and Space Science and holds a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from UCL and Cambridge University.
